This policy explains what information Aiki Spokane Roshinkan Dojo LLC ("the dojo," "we") collects through aikispokane.com, how we use it, and how you can have it deleted. We are a small dojo; we collect only what we need to run classes and the members area.
Information we collect
When you sign in to the members area
You can sign in with Google or Facebook. When you do, the provider shares the following with us, and only with your permission:
- your name
- your email address
- your profile picture
- an account ID that identifies you to that provider
We never receive your password, and we do not access your posts, friends, photos, or any other data from your Google or Facebook account.
When you complete your member profile
Members may add a phone number, mailing address, and an emergency contact (name, phone, and relationship). These fields are optional.
When you use the contact form
The contact form sends your name, email, optional phone number, and message to our inbox through Web3Forms, an email delivery service. We do not store form submissions on this website.
Cookies
We use a single cookie to keep you signed in to the members area. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics.
How we use your information
- to sign you in and confirm you are a member of the dojo
- to contact you about classes, schedule changes, and membership
- to reach your emergency contact if you are hurt during training
- to reply to messages you send us
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that run this website, and only so they can do so: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Web3Forms (contact form email), and the sign-in provider you choose (Google or Facebook). We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep member account information while you have an account. Session data expires when you sign out or after a period of inactivity. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it as described below.
Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete your account and all information associated with it at any time. Email info@aikispokane.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject "Data deletion request." We will delete your account, profile, and sign-in records within 30 days and confirm by email. See Data Deletion Instructions for details, including how to remove our app from your Facebook account.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, and your data is stored in an access-controlled database. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Our classes are for ages 13 and up. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
