Since the Aiki Institute of Spokane began in 1990 under the leadership of Roger and Sandy Mosconi its purpose has been to provide high quality training in the art of Aikido. Incorporated in 2001 and now under the direction of James Landry the Aiki Institute of Spokane is making the next steps to ensure a strong presence of Aikido in the Spokane area and in the surrounding region.

In association with the Aikido World Alliance we promote high standards of training, bringing nationally, and internationally recognized instructors to Spokane. We extend the spirit of Aikido to our community by designing and implementing programs that address the needs of youth, and adults that are struggling with the stress of living in a world out of balance.
